Beijing: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to enhancing cooperation with China in the fields of agriculture, science, innovation, and rural transformation. Speaking at a workshop on Pak-China agricultural cooperation in Beijing, the Prime Minister emphasized the importance of revitalizing Pakistan’s agricultural research centers as a means to secure a better future and empower the youth.
According to Radio Pakistan, Prime Minister Sharif called for increased Chinese collaboration in agriculture, highlighting the sector’s significance for Pakistan’s development. He proposed the initiative of sending one thousand fresh agriculture graduates from all provinces of Pakistan to Chinese universities. These graduates would receive refresher courses and modern training in advanced areas of agriculture, aiming to bolster the country’s expertise and innovation in the sector.
