Prime Minister Calls for Observance of Youm-e-Dua and Youm-e-Tashakkur on Friday for Regional Peace

Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has called on the nation to observe Youm-e-Dua and Youm-e-Tashakkur on Friday in a bid to promote peace in the region. This appeal was made public by Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhry during a Senate discussion.

According to Radio Pakistan, Dr. Chaudhry conveyed that Pakistan is poised to play a significant role in the upcoming Islamabad Talks, which aim to secure lasting peace and stability in the region. He expressed optimism about the peace efforts, stating that they are expected to culminate successfully with the signing of the Islamabad Accord.

During the session, several members of the Senate, including Manzoor Ahmed Kakar, Danish Kumar, and others, contributed to the discussion. The meeting adjourned with plans to reconvene the following day at 11:30 a.m.
