ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has announced that Iran and the United States, along with their allies, have agreed to an immediate ceasefire in various regions, including Lebanon. He extended an invitation to delegations from both nations to convene in Islamabad on April 10 for negotiations aimed at reaching a conclusive agreement to resolve ongoing disputes.
According to Radio Pakistan, the Prime Minister expressed his gratitude to the leadership of both countries for their decision to cease hostilities. In a statement on his X account, Sharif emphasized the importance of the ceasefire and the constructive engagement of both parties in promoting peace and stability. He expressed hope that the upcoming ‘Islamabad Talks’ would succeed in securing sustainable peace and indicated a desire to share more positive developments in the near future.
