President Zardari Reaffirms Commitment to Strengthen Pakistan-Sweden Relations


Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari has reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to strengthening and expanding its ties with Sweden, emphasizing mutual benefits in various sectors. The statement came as he extended congratulations to Sweden on its National Day.



According to Radio Pakistan, President Zardari expressed satisfaction with the progress in bilateral engagements, particularly in renewable energy, technology, telecommunications, textiles, and agriculture. He highlighted the long-standing relations between the two nations, established in 1949, and noted that these ties are grounded in mutual respect and a shared commitment to international peace and cooperation.
