ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari has expressed his condolences over the passing of Tun Dr. Siti Hasmah Mohamad Ali, the wife of former Malaysian Prime Minister Dr. Mahathir Mohamad.
According to Radio Pakistan, the President extended his heartfelt sympathies to Dr. Mahathir Mohamad, his family, and the people of Malaysia during this period of mourning. He highlighted Tun Dr. Siti Hasmah’s significant contributions to medicine, public health, and social welfare, noting that her service would be remembered with respect. Additionally, President Zardari prayed for divine blessings on the departed soul and strength for Dr. Mahathir Mohamad and his family to endure their loss.
