BEIJING: President Asif Ali Zardari extended an invitation to the Hunan Tea Group Company Limited to explore collaborative opportunities with Pakistan during his recent visit to China. The visit included a comprehensive briefing on the company’s operations and international market presence.

According to Radio Pakistan, the President was informed by Zhou Zhongwang, Chairman of Hunan Tea Group, about the company’s integrated model that encompasses cultivation, processing, research, marketing, and tea culture within a single industrial framework. The briefing highlighted the company’s ecological tea garden bases and specialized production facilities, which support both domestic sales and exports.

President Zardari identified potential areas for cooperation in value addition, agro-processing, and export development, inviting the group to consider partnerships with Pakistan. During his visit, he toured the company’s history gallery, observed a presentation on tea processing, and participated in a tea tasting session, subsequently recording his impressions in the visitors’ book.
