Lahore: Acting President Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani has underscored the importance of ongoing efforts to maintain global peace. Speaking at a ceremony today, Gilani highlighted the necessity of addressing global challenges such as technological advancement and climate change by adapting to the evolving international landscape.
According to Radio Pakistan, Gilani emphasized Pakistan’s active role in promoting peace and dialogue on the world stage. He cited the country’s diplomatic initiatives aimed at fostering regional stability and building trust, particularly between Iran and the United States.
Addressing the Pahalgam false flag operation, Gilani stated that Pakistan is a responsible nuclear state. He criticized India for conducting an attack and unilaterally revoking the Indus Waters Treaty, asserting that Pakistan’s response was strictly in self-defense.
