Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari has conveyed congratulations to the government and people of Nepal on their Constitution Day, which is also celebrated as the National Day of the country.
According to Press Information Department, in a letter addressed to the President of Nepal, Ramchandra Paudel, President Zardari highlighted the longstanding and cordial relations between Pakistan and Nepal. He emphasized that these ties are based on mutual respect, trust, and goodwill, and are supported by strong bonds of friendship between the citizens of both nations.
President Zardari underscored the importance Pakistan places on its relationship with Nepal, noting the value of bilateral cooperation as well as collaboration within the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) and other multilateral forums. He expressed confidence that the friendly relations between the two countries will continue to grow and benefit their peoples in the future.
