Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari has extended his congratulations to President To Lam, the government, and the people of Viet Nam on the occasion of their 81st National Day.

According to Press Information Department, President Zardari conveyed in his letter that since its independence in 1945, Viet Nam has navigated numerous challenges, achieving progress in political, economic, and social areas. He highlighted the value Pakistan places on its friendly relations with Viet Nam and expressed commitment to enhancing bilateral cooperation for the mutual benefit of both countries.

President Zardari noted the upcoming 55th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two nations, expressing anticipation for the occasion next year. He also extended an invitation to President To Lam to visit Pakistan to mark this significant milestone and celebrate the enduring friendship between the two countries.
