ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari extended congratulations to President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and the people of Egypt on their National Day, emphasizing the strong ties between Pakistan and Egypt.
According to Radio Pakistan, President Zardari highlighted the longstanding and cordial relations between the two countries, which are based on shared values and mutual trust. He underscored the tradition of cooperation that has been maintained bilaterally and in multilateral forums, noting that both nations continue to collaborate on common interests.
President Zardari expressed optimism about the growing cooperation in various fields such as trade, investment, education, culture, and defense. He affirmed Pakistan’s commitment to strengthening its partnership with Egypt for the mutual benefit of both nations.
The President also acknowledged the active coordination between the leadership of both countries in resolving recent regional conflicts. He expressed confidence in the deepening bonds of friendship and cooperation, which he believes will contribute to regional harmony, sustainable development, and greater economic opportunities in the future.
