Finance Minister Aurangzeb Reaffirms Economic Strategy in Washington

Washington: Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb has reiterated the government’s dedication to maintaining fiscal discipline and implementing structural reforms. This commitment was expressed during meetings with senior management of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in Washington D.C.

According to Radio Pakistan, Aurangzeb emphasized the progress made in improving the country’s fiscal and external balances. He noted the achievement of revenue targets, enhancement of foreign exchange reserves, record levels of remittances, and an improved current account position as indicators of the government’s effective economic strategy.
