Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari has extended an invitation to international travelers to explore Pakistan, highlighting tourism as a key driver for economic growth and community development. Emphasizing the country’s varied landscapes and historical richness, President Zardari underscored the potential of tourism to support local economies and create jobs.

According to Radio Pakistan, President Zardari’s message, delivered on World Tourism Day, stressed the importance of protecting Pakistan’s natural environment and cultural heritage for future generations. He described the nation’s offerings, from the northern mountains and ancient Indus Valley civilizations to its Islamic and Gandhara heritage, deserts, and coastal areas.

The President acknowledged the transformative role of technology and artificial intelligence in tourism, aligning with this year’s World Tourism Day theme, “Digital Agenda and Artificial Intelligence to Redesign Tourism.” He emphasized that tourism must remain responsible, inclusive, and beneficial to both people and communities.

In his appeal, President Zardari encouraged global visitors to experience Pakistan’s hospitality firsthand and discover the beauty and diversity that the country has to offer.
