Karachi: Pakistan Navy’s recently acquired submarine, PNS/M Hangor, has successfully executed its first live weapon firing in the North Arabian Sea. The submarine achieved a precise strike on a designated long-range target using an anti-ship cruise missile.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Chief of the Naval Staff, Admiral Naveed Ashraf, was present to witness the event. He commended the submarine’s combat capabilities and highlighted the strategic significance of bolstering subsurface assets to ensure credible maritime deterrence. This achievement reflects Pakistan Navy’s dedication to maintaining a modern and combat-ready force aimed at protecting national maritime boundaries and promoting regional stability.
