President, Prime Minister, and Military Leaders Extend Eid-ul-Azha Greetings to Nation


Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif extended Eid-ul-Azha greetings to Pakistanis and the global Muslim community. Their messages emphasized the spirit of obedience to Allah, patience, loyalty, sincerity, and sacrifice, drawing inspiration from the legacy of Hazrat Ibrahim and Hazrat Ismail.



According to Radio Pakistan, President Zardari highlighted the importance of including underprivileged segments of society in Eid celebrations, urging special care for those enduring hardships. Prime Minister Sharif noted the significance of sacrifice, unity, and solidarity for national progress and expressed solidarity with Palestinians and Kashmiris. He prayed for peace, love, and harmony for the Muslim Ummah.



Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and top military leaders, including Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Admiral Naveed Ashraf, and Air Chief Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu, also conveyed their Eid greetings. ISPR reported that the Armed Forces prayed for national peace and unity, honoring the resilience of the Pakistani people and the sacrifices of martyrs and law enforcement agencies.
