Islamabad, June 18, 2021 (PPI-OT):President Dr. Arif Alvi has urged the need for better coordination among all the stakeholders to address misconceptions about e-Voting. Chairing a meeting in Islamabad, he emphasised that the vote is fundamental right of every citizen, and they should not be deprived of it due to the system’s weaknesses. He also called for addressing the Election Commission of Pakistan’s reservations regarding the amendments in the electoral laws. The President said the government organizations would facilitate the ECP in executing the reform process in a transparent manner.
