President Approves Posthumous Upgrade of Taj Haider’s Civil Award

Karachi: President Asif Ali Zardari has approved the posthumous upgrading of former senator and senior Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Taj Haider’s civil award from Sitara-e-Imtiaz to Hilal-e-Imtiaz. This decision marks a significant recognition of Haider’s contributions to the nation.

According to Radio Pakistan, Taj Haider was originally awarded the Sitara-e-Imtiaz in 2013. The recent upgrade to Hilal-e-Imtiaz further acknowledges his services and dedication to the country during his lifetime.
