ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif have praised the efforts of security forces following the elimination of five Fitna al-Khawarij terrorists in an intelligence-based operation in Lakki Marwat. Both leaders emphasized the nation’s unified stance with the Armed Forces in their fight against terrorism.
According to Radio Pakistan, President Zardari highlighted that the Fitna al-Khawarij group, allegedly backed by India, is attempting to disrupt the peace in Pakistan. He reaffirmed the nation’s support for its security forces in their mission to eliminate foreign-sponsored terrorism completely.
Prime Minister Sharif noted the achievements of the security forces under the initiative Azm-e-Istehkam in combating terrorism. He reiterated the government’s commitment to eradicating all forms of terrorism from the country.
