Islamabad: Responding to India’s recent statement regarding Pakistan’s military actions in Afghanistan, a spokesperson for Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has issued a strong rebuttal. According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Tahir Andrabi, the spokesperson for the Ministry, dismissed India’s remarks as “absurd and unwarranted,” accusing India of hypocrisy in its criticism of Pakistan’s targeted operations against terrorist hideouts in Afghanistan.
The Ministry’s statement suggested that India’s condemnation was a reflection of its frustration over the disruption of terrorist networks it allegedly supports, including Fitna-al-Khawarij and Fitna-al-Hindustan. The spokesperson further accused India of human rights violations in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir and criticized its treatment of minorities and stance on international treaties. The statement emphasized Pakistan’s commitment to self-defense and adherence to international laws, urging India to cease its alleged support of terrorism in Pakistan from Afghan territory.
