President and Prime Minister Commend Security Forces for Preventing Terrorist Attack in Karachi

KARACHI: President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have commended Pakistan’s security forces for thwarting a planned terrorist attack on a Pakistan Rangers Sindh camp in Karachi. According to Radio Pakistan, both leaders issued separate statements condemning the attack perpetrated by the Indian proxy group Jamaat-ul-Ahrar. They highlighted the response of the Rangers as an example of professionalism and duty.

The attack resulted in the deaths of three Rangers personnel, to whom the President and the Prime Minister paid tribute, noting that their sacrifices will be remembered. They extended condolences to the bereaved families and wished for the swift recovery of those injured.

President Zardari emphasized that terrorist groups with external support would not achieve their goals. Prime Minister Sharif reiterated the nation’s support for the armed forces and law enforcement agencies, affirming that the fight against terrorism will persist with determination until it is completely eradicated.
