Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif have praised the security forces for a successful operation against the militant group Fitna al-Hindustan in the Panjgur district of Balochistan. The operation resulted in the elimination of six terrorists.
According to Radio Pakistan, President Zardari emphasized that Fitna al-Hindustan and its facilitators will not achieve their goals of disrupting Pakistan’s peace and stability. He stated that operations against terrorism, under the broader Operation Azm-e-Istehkam, will persist until they reach their intended conclusion.
Prime Minister Sharif also lauded the security forces for their efforts in Panjgur. He reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to eradicating terrorism across the nation, underscoring the importance of maintaining peace and security. The statements from the country’s leadership reflect a unified stance on counterterrorism efforts in the region.
