President Alvi Highlights Pakistan’s Youth Potential and Technological Transformation Needs


Islamabad, In a forward-looking speech at the National University of Technology, President Dr. Arif Alvi highlighted the critical role of technological transformation in educational institutes for Pakistan’s socio-economic development. He emphasized the country’s significant potential in harnessing its youth talent across diverse fields to propel national progress.



According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, President Alvi addressed the importance of innovation and human resource development to meet global standards and compete with developed nations. He underscored the necessity of enhancing exports to improve the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and strengthen Pakistan’s economy. The President also called for unity to attract foreign investment and ensure stability within the country.



A major concern raised by Dr. Alvi was the issue of twenty-two million out-of-school children, which he identified as a critical challenge needing urgent attention. His comments underline the urgency for educational reforms and the development of a skilled workforce to capitalize on the youthful demographics of Pakistan.
