PPP’s Development Initiatives Aim to Transform Karachi’s Infrastructure

Karachi: Karamullah Waqasi, spokesperson for the Mayor Karachi and the Parliamentary Leader of the Pakistan Peoples Party in the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation, has expressed optimism about the ongoing development projects in Karachi, asserting that these initiatives will enhance the city’s infrastructure and improve living standards.

According to Karachi Metropolitan Corporation, Waqasi emphasized that the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) is dedicated to public welfare and is committed to protecting citizens from economic challenges. He highlighted the rehabilitation of Sakhi Hassan Street as a significant advancement in the development of crucial areas within the city. The project involves comprehensive road repairs, drainage system upgrades, and the construction of a modern dual carriageway, with a budget exceeding 13.8 million rupees. This development is expected to facilitate better travel conditions for Karachi’s residents.

Waqasi remarked that such projects are indicative of PPP’s commitment to resolving public issues and enhancing infrastructure. He acknowledged the ongoing efforts of the party, led by Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, to continue public service amidst economic pressures. In addition, the Sindh government’s relief package of 35 billion rupees aims to alleviate financial burdens on farmers, motorcyclists, and small traders.

The spokesperson affirmed that PPP’s continued focus on Karachi’s development aligns with its goal of modernizing the city while shielding its citizens from economic difficulties. He concluded by stating that the party’s projects are poised to secure a promising future for Karachi, despite concerns from opposition parties.
