Islamabad: A ceremony to honor recently promoted police officers was held at the DIG Security division office, where new ranks were officially pinned on the officers by DIG Security Muhammad Ateeque Tahir and senior officials.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, the event was an occasion for DIG Muhammad Ateeque Tahir to extend congratulations to the officers and convey well wishes for their ongoing success. He addressed the promoted officers, highlighting that their new ranks come with increased responsibilities. He stressed the importance of fulfilling their duties with excellence and making the welfare of the police force and the delivery of justice to citizens their top priorities.

DIG Tahir also noted that Inspector General of Police Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, has issued directives to ensure promotions are implemented across all vacant positions. He acknowledged the hard work and dedication of the officers, expressing hope that they will continue to serve with dedication, politeness, sincerity, and a strong spirit of public service.
