Islamabad: In a concerted effort to address public grievances, Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Islamabad Muhammad Jawad Tariq and Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Operations Islamabad convened an open forum, or Khulli Katcheri, at their office. The initiative aims to provide citizens with a platform to voice their concerns and receive immediate resolutions.
During these forums, DIG Islamabad and SSP Operations emphasized the availability of the IGP Complaint Cell 1715 as another channel for citizens to register their complaints. They highlighted that Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi has mandated that all senior police officers organize open courts throughout the district to ensure public concerns are effectively addressed.
In adherence to these directives, all zonal SPs are actively conducting open courts in their respective zones. This initiative is designed to ensure that the voices of citizens are heard and their issues resolved promptly.
The police leadership reiterated their commitment to engaging with the public and underscored that the resolution of public grievances is a top priority for the Islamabad Police. They encouraged every citizen of Islamabad to participate in these forums and freely express their concerns.
