PML-N Positioned to Lead Next Government in Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Says Minister


Lahore: The Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Attaullah Tarar, has announced that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) is poised to form the next government in Azad Jammu and Kashmir. Speaking at a ceremony in Lahore, Tarar stated that PML-N candidates have emerged victorious in the Mirpur division and have established a significant lead in the initial phase of the Kashmir elections.



According to Radio Pakistan, Tarar attributed this electoral success to the dedicated efforts of party workers, whom he commended for conducting a robust campaign. He reiterated that public service and development are central to the PML-N’s mission.



Tarar highlighted that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has initiated several large-scale development projects in the region, including the establishment of Daanish Schools. He also emphasized the PML-N leadership’s ongoing commitment to advocating for the Kashmir cause and effectively representing the interests of the Kashmiri people at the United Nations and other international platforms.
