PM Youth Programme and UN Women Pakistan Sign MoU to Empower Young Women


Islamabad: The Prime Minister’s Youth Programme and UN Women Pakistan have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at bolstering the empowerment and leadership of young women in Pakistan. This initiative seeks to enhance the participation of young women in various sectors, focusing on entrepreneurship, employability, and civic engagement.



According to Radio Pakistan, the agreement was formalized during a meeting between Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan, Chairman of the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme, and Jamshed Kazi, UN Women Pakistan Country Representative. The partnership will concentrate on fostering cooperation through technical collaboration, knowledge exchange, and joint initiatives dedicated to women’s leadership, youth empowerment, and gender equality.



The collaboration is designed to offer young women increased access to mentorship, networking opportunities, leadership development, and professional exposure. The initiative underscores a commitment to nurturing the potential of young women in Pakistan, providing them with the tools and opportunities necessary for meaningful participation in society.
