PM Shehbaz Sharif Aims to Boost Pakistan-Croatia Relations Through Trade and Technology


ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has expressed Pakistan’s intention to deepen bilateral cooperation with Croatia, focusing on trade, investment, information technology, connectivity, agriculture, tourism, and skilled manpower. This announcement came during a meeting with Croatia’s Foreign Minister, Dr. Gordan Grlic Radman, in Islamabad.



According to Radio Pakistan, the meeting was attended by Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, as well as Foreign Secretary Ambassador Amna Baloch. In the discussion, Prime Minister Sharif conveyed Pakistan’s friendly relations with Croatia, emphasizing mutual respect and shared interests between the two nations.



Prime Minister Sharif extended an invitation to Croatian President Zoran Milanovic and Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic for official visits to Pakistan. In response, the Croatian Foreign Minister expressed gratitude for the warm reception and acknowledged Pakistan’s significant role in regional peace initiatives. He also reiterated Croatia’s interest in strengthening ties with Pakistan across various sectors.
