Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has reiterated his commitment to fostering closer relations with China, emphasizing the ongoing cooperation between the two nations. During a meeting with Chinese Ambassador Jiang Zaidong, the Prime Minister expressed satisfaction with the current state of Pakistan-China bilateral relations and underscored the significance of the All-Weather Cooperative Strategic Partnership.

According to Radio Pakistan, the meeting also addressed regional developments in the Middle East and Pakistan’s efforts to promote peace. Ambassador Jiang conveyed China’s appreciation for Pakistan’s diplomatic initiatives aimed at achieving lasting peace in the region. He reaffirmed China’s dedication to enhancing its strong partnership with Pakistan, aligning with President Xi Jinping’s vision to elevate bilateral ties.
