JEDDAH: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman have agreed to collaborate on promoting regional peace and stability. The agreement was reached during a restricted meeting held in Jeddah, where both leaders emphasized the importance of strengthening bilateral ties.
According to Radio Pakistan, the meeting was also attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, along with Chief of Army Staff Syed Asim Munir. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif conveyed his regards to King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and expressed appreciation for Saudi Arabia’s support to Pakistan. He reiterated Pakistan’s solidarity with Saudi Arabia and highlighted the strong relations between the two nations.
The discussions included an in-depth exchange of views on regional developments. Both leaders agreed to work closely to promote peace and stability. Prime Minister Shehbaz assured the Saudi Crown Prince of Pakistan’s commitment to standing by Saudi Arabia and working together for their shared goals in the region.
