PM Sharif Reaffirms Pakistan’s Commitment to Strengthening Ties with Iran

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to enhance cooperation with Iran, focusing on regional peace and mutual prosperity. In a recent meeting with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian in Islamabad, both leaders underscored the importance of dialogue and diplomacy in resolving outstanding issues.

According to Radio Pakistan, the meeting between the two leaders emphasized a shared commitment to strengthening the Pakistan-Iran relationship. Discussions included plans to expand collaboration across multiple areas of mutual interest. Prime Minister Sharif also expressed Pakistan’s appreciation for the leadership of Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Sayyid Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei, acknowledging the trust Iran places in Pakistan as a friend and mediator in the region.
