Lahore: The Chief of the Naval Staff, Admiral Naveed Ashraf, has called on participants of the 55th Pakistan Navy Staff Course to enhance their strategic and operational skills, urging the development of adaptive strategies to tackle modern threats. Speaking at the Pakistan Navy War College in Lahore, Admiral Ashraf underscored the necessity of re-evaluating traditional military paradigms in light of technological advancements and evolving maritime security challenges.
According to Radio Pakistan, Admiral Ashraf reaffirmed the Pakistan Navy’s commitment to modernization, indigenization, and joint operational capabilities. He stressed the importance of cultivating a workforce that is both technologically proficient and intellectually resilient to address conventional and non-conventional threats. Highlighting the dynamic nature of modern warfare, he pointed to the Indian Ocean Region as an area of geopolitical tension and power rivalry, influencing regional security dynamics.
The Naval Chief also congratulated the course participants on completing the program, encouraging them to maintain professionalism, analytical depth, and innovative approaches in their future roles.
