Lucerne: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir met with an Iranian delegation led by Speaker of the Parliament Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf and Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi in Lucerne, Switzerland. The meeting occurred alongside ongoing US-Iran technical-level discussions, which are part of the follow-up to the ‘Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding’ being held today.
According to Radio Pakistan, the meeting in Switzerland brought together high-ranking officials from both Pakistan and Iran to discuss bilateral relations. The discussions were set against the backdrop of broader international talks between the United States and Iran, highlighting the significance of continued diplomatic engagement in the region. Both parties are yet to disclose specific outcomes from this meeting.
