Islamabad, August 18, 2022 (PPI-OT):Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal has reviewed progress of CPEC projects and preparation for next Joint Cooperation Committee meeting. The review was made in a high level meeting held in Islamabad.

During the meeting, it was informed that seven meetings of Joint Working Groups of CPEC have been held which includes JWG on Socio-Economic Development, Industrial Cooperation, Science and Technology, Transport Infrastructure and International Cooperation. The Planning Minister directed that proposals for collaboration with Chinese side for water desalination and water treatment technology may also be included in CPEC framework.
