Peshawar: The city of flowers celebrated the arrival of spring with the 16th annual spring and rose festival, organized by the Station Headquarters and Cantonment Board. The event, hosted at Peshawar Cantonment, drew a significant gathering of citizens, families, and officials from both civil and military sectors.

The exhibition showcased over 60 varieties of flowers, featuring more than 200 shades, offering a vibrant display that highlighted the city’s rich floral diversity. Corps Commander Peshawar, Lieutenant General Ahmed Umar Bukhari, presided over the event as the chief guest and formally opened the exhibition to the public.

A notable moment of the festival was the performance by differently-abled students from Umeed Special School Peshawar. Their unique tableaus garnered much appreciation from the audience, adding to the event’s celebratory atmosphere.

The festival’s success was evident from the large turnout, reflecting the peace-loving spirit of the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The event served as a testament to the community’s enthusiasm for cultural and seasonal events, fostering a sense of unity and joy among attendees.
