Paris Community to Protest on Black Day, Expressing Solidarity with Kashmir

Paris: The Kashmiri and Pakistani communities in Paris are set to hold an anti-India rally on October 27 to mark the day as Black Day in support of the residents of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the event is a response to the anniversary of India deploying troops in Srinagar on October 27, 1947, which is viewed by participants as the beginning of forcible occupation. The protest, organized by Mirza Asif Jarral, Chairman of the Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Forum in France, aims to reject Indian authority and continue the call for Kashmiri independence.

Participants include both Kashmiris and Pakistanis residing in France. They plan to send a clear message to India regarding their determination to never surrender and to keep striving for complete liberation. The event will also feature a subsequent gathering on October 28, hosted by Minhaj-ul-Quran International, France, to further show solidarity with the people of IIOJK.

The Ambassador of Pakistan to France, Asim Iftikhar Ahmad, is scheduled to attend as the chief guest, emphasizing the significance of these events for the Kashmiri and Pakistani communities in France.
