New York: Pakistan has renewed its call for diplomacy and dialogue as the means to resolve the ongoing conflict in Ukraine. Usman Jadoon, Pakistan’s Deputy Permanent Representative to the United Nations, emphasized this stance during an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council. The meeting, convened by Belarus, addressed reports of Ukrainian drone attacks on civilians.
According to Radio Pakistan, Jadoon highlighted the importance of an immediate and complete cessation of hostilities. He urged all involved parties to sincerely recommit to dialogue as the primary approach to resolve the conflict. Jadoon reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to supporting all initiatives aimed at achieving a lasting and peaceful resolution.
