Mount Maunganui: Pakistan’s cricket team captain, Mohammad Rizwan, expressed his disappointment in a recent press conference following the team’s 3-0 defeat in the One Day International series against New Zealand. The series concluded with a 43-run loss in Mount Maunganui.
During the post-match conference, Rizwan acknowledged the team’s frustration with the outcome of the series. He described the loss as a setback for the team.
Despite the setback, Rizwan urged both the team and its supporters to look ahead to the upcoming Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 10.
He emphasized the importance of the PSL, stating, “PSL is a big tournament for us, and hopefully, we’ll give the people something to cheer about.” Rizwan expressed hope that the league would help uplift spirits following the challenging series against New Zealand.
