Pakistan’s New Ambassador to Germany Meets Deputy Prime Minister Dar

Islamabad: Mr. Salman Sharif, the newly appointed Ambassador-designate of Pakistan to Germany, met with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs today.

According to Press Information Department, the Deputy Prime Minister congratulated Mr. Sharif on his new role and discussed the importance of strengthening ties between Pakistan and Germany. The focus was on enhancing economic cooperation, as well as promoting trade and investment between the two nations.

The Deputy Prime Minister also highlighted the significance of engaging with the Pakistani diaspora in Germany. Ensuring their welfare and providing efficient consular services were noted as essential duties for the embassy under Mr. Sharif’s leadership. Additionally, Mr. Dar commended Mr. Sharif on his previous work as Joint Secretary in the Prime Minister’s Office and expressed confidence in his capabilities for the upcoming assignment.
