Islamabad, The Ministry of Religious Affairs recognized the achievements of participants in the 39th annual Hif-z-o-Qirat competition, awarding cash prizes and certificates to the top three competitors on Thursday.
According to Press Information Department, Senior Joint Secretary of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, Alamgir Ahmad Khan, presented the awards. The first-place winner received Rs. 80,000, the second-place Rs. 60,000, and the third-place Rs. 40,000, along with appreciation certificates. The event, which saw participation from 59 candidates across all provinces, including Gilgit Baltistan, Islamabad Capital Territory, and Azad Jammu and Kashmir, concluded its two-day run. The winners will represent Pakistan in upcoming international competitions in Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Bangladesh, and Turkey.
