HONG KONG: Pakistan’s Minister for Commerce, Jam Kamal, highlighted significant opportunities for investment in the country’s mineral resources, including gold, copper, and various industrial critical minerals, during his address at the eleventh Belt and Road Initiative Summit in Hong Kong. He emphasized the availability of transparent and investor-friendly frameworks to facilitate these investments.
According to Radio Pakistan, Jam Kamal informed the summit attendees that Pakistan is in the process of modernizing its digital infrastructure to enhance high-tech resilience. He also shared the country’s efforts in advancing climate-smart agriculture, promoting green industry, and expanding renewable energy initiatives. The Minister underscored Pakistan’s commitment to the Belt and Road Initiative’s green agenda, seeking to deepen cooperation with partners such as Hong Kong in areas of climate adaptation and sustainable growth.
