ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts to de-escalate tensions in the region have garnered international recognition, as stated by Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Attaullah Tarar.
According to Radio Pakistan, during a news conference in Islamabad, Tarar highlighted the global acknowledgment of Pakistan’s enhanced role in diplomatic affairs. He noted that this has led to unease in India, as the country finds itself increasingly marginalized in global discussions. The Indian media has reportedly criticized the Modi government’s approach, reflecting concerns over India’s diminishing influence.
Tarar also addressed domestic political dynamics, criticizing certain political leaders for allegedly conspiring against national interests. He emphasized that political agendas must not supersede state priorities, condemning actions that disrespect the country under the pretense of political opposition. Additionally, he mentioned that while the children of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder were permitted to visit Pakistan using their National Identity Cards for Overseas Pakistanis, they have continued to seek alternative methods for their visits.
