London: Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts have garnered acknowledgment in the British Parliament, where lawmakers commended the nation’s role in mediating tensions between the United States and Iran. British Member of Parliament Muhammad Afzal highlighted Pakistan’s leadership in the conflict resolution process, attributing global appreciation to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir.
According to Radio Pakistan, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer supported Afzal’s remarks, expressing gratitude towards the Pakistani government’s peace-promoting initiatives. Pakistan’s significant contributions to regional stability have also been acknowledged by Former Indian Military Officer Yashpal Mor. Mor noted that Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir’s leadership and neutrality have been key to Pakistan’s successful mediation, earning the trust of both conflicting parties.
