Pakistan’s Chairman Senate and Brunei’s High Commissioner Discuss Enhanced Bilateral Ties

ISLAMABAD, The High Commissioner of Brunei Darussalam, PG Kamal Bashah PG Ahmed, met with Chairman Senate, Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani, at the Parliament House on Thursday, emphasizing mutual interests and the potential for greater collaboration in sectors like trade, investment, and economics.

According to Senate of Pakistan, Chairman Sanjrani warmly congratulated High Commissioner PG Kamal Bashah on his recent appointment, expressing hope and optimism for the future of Pakistan-Brunei Darussalam relations. The two sides engaged in detailed discussions on the prevailing regional situation and mutual concerns. The historic and strong bilateral ties, founded on shared religious values and collaboration, were celebrated.

Both leaders stressed the significance of enhancing relations, especially in trade, business, and investment. Sanjrani spotlighted Pakistan’s investor-friendly policies, presenting them as an appealing opportunity for potential investments from Brunei Darussalam in various domains, including energy, agriculture, and education.

Furthermore, Chairman Sanjrani highlighted the shared stance of Pakistan and Brunei Darussalam on matters such as Islamophobia and their collaborative roles within the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). He also emphasized their mutual dedication to global peace.
