Pakistani Students Excel at Harvard Model United Nations China


BEIJING: Pakistani students have achieved significant success at the Harvard Model United Nations (HMUN) China, elevating the country’s profile on the international stage.



According to Radio Pakistan, Cedar College and School secured the Best Small Delegation award among more than seventy participating delegations. Pakistani students also earned five individual accolades: three Best Delegate awards and two Diplomatic Excellence awards. Naveen Raj, Muhammad Ahmed Hussain, and Maliha Ali received Best Delegate honors, while Salika Murtaza and Alishba Wazir were recognized with Best Diplomat awards.



The students showcased strong diplomacy, leadership, and critical thinking skills while engaging in discussions on global issues. Additionally, Hassam Moazzam, a student from Beaconhouse School Lahore, represented Pakistan and was awarded an Honourable Mention for his public speaking, confidence, and diplomatic skills.



These achievements highlight the talent and potential of Pakistani youth in global forums.
