Pakistani Organizations in the US Boost Bilateral Ties Through Humanitarian Efforts, Ambassador Masood Khan Lauds HOPE Pakistan’s Contributions


Islamabad, Pakistan’s philanthropic organizations based in the United States are playing a significant role in enhancing the country’s image through their dedicated humanitarian services, as per Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United States, Masood Khan. He made these remarks during a virtual meeting with the leadership of ‘HOPE Pakistan,’ a non-profit organization committed to providing health, education, and emergency relief services in Pakistan.



According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, during the meeting with Dr. Muniba Agboatwalla, the founder and chairperson of HOPE Pakistan, and its Director Ambreen Siddiqui, Ambassador Khan highlighted the pivotal role these organizations play in bridging communities across Pakistan and the United States. He praised ‘HOPE Pakistan’ for establishing a robust network of philanthropists and donors in the United States, facilitating significant humanitarian aid projects in Pakistan, particularly in its rural regions.



Dr. Agboatwalla briefed the Ambassador on the organization’s collaborative efforts with UNICEF and the Governments of Sindh and Punjab, aimed at providing essential services free of cost to the most vulnerable segments of society. In response, Ambassador Khan expressed his admiration for the organization’s work and assured ‘HOPE Pakistan’ of his full support in their noble mission to uplift the underprivileged.



The meeting underscores the Embassy’s initiative to engage with U.S.-based philanthropic and humanitarian organizations led by Pakistani-Americans, fostering synergy to maximize their impact and outreach. This collaborative approach not only strengthens bilateral ties between Pakistan and the United States but also showcases the positive contributions of the Pakistani diaspora in the realm of global humanitarian efforts.
