Pakistani Missions Establish Helplines and Airport Teams Amid Middle East Conflict

Riyadh: Pakistani diplomatic missions in Saudi Arabia have launched helplines and stationed airport teams to assist travelers as air travel faces disruptions due to the ongoing conflict in the Middle East. This move aims to provide support particularly to Pakistani Umrah pilgrims and other passengers in the western regions of Saudi Arabia.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Pakistani Embassy in Riyadh and the Consulate General in Jeddah have acted on directives from the Government of Pakistan to offer continuous assistance to nationals affected by the situation. The diplomatic missions have reported that the situation remains stable for Pakistani pilgrims and passengers in Jeddah, Makkah, and Madinah, though minor operational restrictions and risk warnings persist in these areas.
