Pakistani Interior Minister Foresees Enhanced US Relations


Houston: Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi expressed optimism about the future of Pakistan-US relations, suggesting that the bilateral ties between the two countries are set to improve in the coming days. This announcement was made during Naqvi’s meeting with Alexander Green, a key member of the US Congress and its Finance Committee.



According to a statement by Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Naqvi met with Green in Houston to discuss various aspects of the relationship between the two nations. During their discussion, Naqvi highlighted recent improvements in bilateral relations and shared concerns regarding terrorism and infiltration incidents originating from Afghanistan.



The Interior Minister also praised Congressman Green for his stance on the Palestinian issue, commending his principled position.



In response, Congressman Green expressed his intention to visit Pakistan again soon, indicating ongoing engagement between the US and Pakistan on matters of mutual interest.
