Dhaka: The Pakistani High Commissioner to Dhaka, Imran Haider, met with Dr. Rashed Al Mahmud Titumir, Adviser for the Ministry of Finance and Planning in Bangladesh, to discuss the ongoing enhancement of bilateral relations between their countries. The discussions highlighted the steady growth in cooperation, including economic and cultural exchanges.
According to Radio Pakistan, the High Commissioner briefed Dr. Titumir on the outcomes of the 9th Session of the Joint Economic Commission, emphasizing the progress achieved to date. The meeting also explored opportunities for expanding bilateral trade, investments, and establishing connections between the respective Boards of Revenue.
Dr. Titumir expressed support for continued dialogue through both bilateral and multilateral platforms, advocating for increased connectivity between businesses and citizens. He also promoted the idea of strengthening supply chain linkages and fostering cultural activities to further solidify the relationship between Pakistan and Bangladesh.
