Pakistan Weather Forecast: Dry Conditions with Rain in Balochistan

Islamabad, The National Weather Forecasting Centre, Islamabad, has issued a weather forecast predicting mainly dry conditions across most parts of Pakistan. However, there will be partly cloudy weather in the upper and central parts of the country, with rain and thunderstorms expected in southern and western Balochistan.

According to National Weather Forecasting Centre, a westerly wave from the Persian Gulf is approaching the western parts of Pakistan. On Friday, while most regions will experience dry weather, southern and western Balochistan are likely to see rain and thunderstorms. The forecast for Saturday also indicates mainly dry weather in most areas, with shallow fog/smog expected in the plain areas of Punjab during the morning hours. Additionally, rain and thunderstorms are predicted for northern and southern Balochistan.

The past 24 hours have seen dry weather prevailing over most parts of the country, with cold conditions in the northern regions. The recorded lowest minimum temperatures were -06°C in Skardu, -05°C in Leh, and -02°C in Kalam and Gilgit, with Gupis and Hunza at -01°C.
