Islamabad: In response to severe flooding in Nepal, Pakistan dispatched a 100-ton cargo flight filled with humanitarian relief supplies from Islamabad International Airport to Kathmandu. The shipment, ordered by the Prime Minister of Pakistan, includes family tents, blankets, mats, hygiene kits, and essential medicines aimed at assisting Nepal’s flood-affected population.

According to Press Information Department, the relief effort was organized by the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) of Pakistan. The departure was marked by a ceremony attended by Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhary, Federal Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, NDMA Chairman Lt Gen Inam Haider Malik, the Ambassador of Nepal to Pakistan, and officials from various humanitarian organizations and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The relief mission underscores the government and people of Pakistan’s solidarity with the people of Nepal during this challenging period.
